Since 2014 B Music Youth has served thousands of youth of diverse ages and backgrounds. We have reached students from the USA, Israel, Turkey, India, Africa, and more. Our community partners have included government-level, private organizations, preschools, summer camps, after-school programs, nonprofits, and more. Some of our past and present community partners are Mecklenburg Park & Rec, Town of Huntersville, Town of Mooresville, First United Methodist CDC, Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department, YMCA’s of Greater Charlotte, Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Private Organizations and more.
Our values are appreciation for diversity, community service, fun in learning, and mentorship, all through music.
We look forward to new community partnerships
BMY is a safe place for diverse languages to speak one universal language: music. BMY classes break cultural barriers and allow students the freedom to express themselves creatively without worrying about their differences. We have seen students with behavior and educational challenges find connections with our music classes that have helped enhance their mental and emotional states. We have seen shy students dare to get on stage and perform in front of crowds at our concerts.
BMY Community Partners
We partner directly with schools and after-school programs to deliver music education that supports student development, improves focus, and keeps kids engaged. No curriculum planning required from your staff.
We embed alongside your existing programming to bring culturally-connected music education to the youth you already serve. With measurable outcomes you can report back to funders and stakeholders.
Our early childhood programs use music and movement to support cognitive development, language skills, and social-emotional growth for children ages 0–5. We bring everything needed to your facility.
